Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Pilar service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Pilar is provided by With Pilar S.L., a Spanish company registered at Plaça de la Fira, 1, 08261 Cardona, Barcelona, Spain.
Description of service
Pilar is a financial wellbeing platform providing:

Accounts and eligibility
Access via employer
Access to Pilar is provided by your employer as a workplace benefit. Eligibility depends on your employment relationship. If your employment ends or your employer terminates their Pilar contract, your access may be paused or terminated (see Section 10 for data handling in these cases).
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use Pilar.
Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:

- —Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Pilar systems or other users' data
- —Interfere with the service or attempt to disrupt other users
- —Copy, modify, or distribute Pilar content without authorisation
- —Use Pilar to provide investment advice to others
Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.
Pricing and payment
Employer-paid access
For employees accessing Pilar through their employer, the service is provided at no personal cost. Your employer pays Pilar directly under a separate contract.
Future personal subscriptions
If Pilar introduces individual paid subscriptions in future, applicable pricing and terms will be communicated to you before charges begin. No charges will be made without your explicit consent.
Intellectual property
All Pilar content — including courses, software, graphics, and text — is the property of Pilar or its licensors. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the service for personal purposes only.
You retain ownership of any personal financial data you add. By using the service, you grant Pilar a limited license to process this data for the purpose of providing the service to you.
Disclaimers
Pilar provides educational content and personal financial visualisation tools. Pilar does NOT provide:

- —Portfolio management services
- —Tax, legal, or accounting advice
- —Guarantees of investment returns or financial outcomes
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consult qualified professionals before making significant financial decisions.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Pilar does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilar's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to [amount to be finalised with legal counsel: typically the greater of €100 or the fees paid by you to Pilar in the 12 months preceding the claim].
Pilar is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss (beyond our security obligations), or investment losses.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Termination
By you
You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by writing to [email protected].
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment (for direct subscriptions), or if required by law. We will notify you before termination where practicable.
Effect of termination
On termination, your access to the service ends. Data handling after termination is described in our Privacy Policy.
Data and privacy
Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Full technical details are on our Trust page.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be resolved before the courts of Barcelona, Spain, without prejudice to applicable consumer protection provisions in your jurisdiction.
