cookie policy

cookies we use, and why.

This policy describes the cookies used on withpilar.com and the Pilar application, and how you can manage them.

01

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They serve many purposes: keeping you logged in, remembering preferences, measuring how a site is used.

This page describes the cookies we use on withpilar.com and the Pilar application.

02

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

Required for the service to function. These cannot be disabled.

  • Session authentication (Supabase Auth) — keeps you logged in
  • CSRF protection — prevents cross-site request forgery attacks
  • Cookie consent state — remembers your consent preferences

Analytics cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and privacy-first. It does not track individual users across sessions or use cookies.

No third-party marketing cookies

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not sell data to marketing partners.

03

Managing cookies

Since we only use strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is shown for optional cookies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Pilar service (you will not be able to log in).

04

Changes to this policy

If we introduce new cookies (for example, if we add third-party analytics that use cookies), this policy will be updated and users will be notified.
